Media Center SDK UX, Microsoft
Microsoft chose Method to define the new standard for Vista Media Center partner branded experiences. As Microsoft worked to redesign their Software Developer Kit (SDK), I worked with other senior staff to design and present a range of identity explorations, user experiences and visual interface solutions for the platform that was to serve as a best practices approach for developing rich applications in Media Center.
I created the name of a fictitious company, "Eko", that was to stage the platforms' new capabilities. Collaborating in the creation of interaction models/wireframes for the final product, I also created a visual design direction for the TV interface and assisted in the final design production. As a result of the success of this project, Method was recommended to Showtime Interactive as agency of choice for designing on this platform.
