Communications UX, Windows Phone
Dual SIM, Phone and Messaging apps, Skype
As a Senior UX Design Lead for Windows Phone, I lead the design of core communications apps and services including the phone app, messaging app and contacts. I worked closely with program, design and engineering leadership to produce concepts, interaction flows and final high fidelity designs. The Lumia Dual SIM product was Microsoft's first entry into the competitive landscape of dual SIM devices, launching in markets around the globe in 2014. I received a patent for my user interface design solutions for this device. I also lead the design of Windows Phone's Skype video calling integration. As a part of the 8.0 launch, customers could now enjoy an effortless way to upgrade their call from voice to Skype video.
